Candles

What are your candles made from?

Our candles are hand-poured using a premium blend of coconut and soy wax. These waxes are plant-based, palm-free, and never tested on animals. We chose this blend for its clean burn, beautiful scent throw, and more sustainable qualities compared with traditional paraffin wax.

Are your fragrance oils safe?

Yes. We use high-quality fragrance oils that are 100% phthalate-free. Safety data sheets (SDS) and IFRA compliance documents are available upon request.

What are your vessels and trays made from?

Our vessels and trays are handcrafted using Hydrostone, a durable gypsum-based casting material known for its smooth finish and strength. Each piece is individually poured, sanded, and sealed by hand, making every item unique.

Is Hydrostone safe to use in the home?

Yes. Once fully cured and sealed, Hydrostone is considered safe for home décor use. It is non-toxic when set and is commonly used in decorative applications.

Are your vessels heat resistant?

Hydrostone has natural heat-resistant properties, making it suitable for candle vessels when properly crafted and sealed. We finish our pieces with a non-toxic, water-based sealer to help protect the surface and improve longevity.

Is the sealer you use safe?

Yes. We use a water-based, non-toxic sealer that contains no heavy metals or harsh fumes. It is selected to be safer for both your home and our studio environment.
